Following this session, from June 27 to 28, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan participated in the 2026 APPE Symposium, hosted by the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, NYCU, at the Shou-Ren Building, Ho Ying Tsai Memorial Hall on the Yang-Ming Campus. Attended by around 100 global pharmacy educators and researchers, the symposium focused on refining Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) frameworks. he shared his extensive expertise across two vital sessions: an insightful presentation titled "Comparing Current Design of APPE in the PharmD Programs in Thailand and the US," followed by his valuable contributions to a panel discussion on "Providing Feedback to Pharmacy Learners." Both sessions aimed to harmonize experiential education standards and elevate student assessment methodologies internationally.

These consecutive events are anticipated to yield profound long-term benefits, including enhanced cross-border research initiatives, the optimization of pharmacy curricula, and deeper strategic ties between Mahidol University and NYCU. Furthermore, this successful academic engagement directly aligns with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It actively contributes to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being through the dissemination of advanced clinical insights, SDG 4: Quality Education by advocating for robust pedagogical models and experiential learning in pharmacy, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by solidifying a resilient academic and scientific alliance between leading Asian institutions.
