On Friday, August 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), through its International Relations and Public Relations Unit, organized an Exit Presentation for exchange students from the School of Pharmacy, College of Medicine, National Taiwan University (NTU), as part of the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) Rotation Program. The presentation was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, and Asst. Prof. Sayamon Sukkha, Assistant Dean for Professional Affairs, who attended the presentation at Room 404, Rajaratana Building.
Two exchange students from the School of Pharmacy, College of Medicine, National Taiwan University, Mr. Chi-Huan Chiang and Ms. Yen-Ho Su, participated in the APPE Rotation Program from July 6 to August 14, 2026. The program provided the students with opportunities to gain practical experience and develop professional competencies in various areas of pharmacy practice, including clinical pharmacy, community pharmacy, Thai traditional pharmacy, and pharmacy administration. Their learning experiences took place at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, as well as affiliated training sites, including Public Health Center 51 (Chatuchak), Chao Phraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital, Ramathibodi Hospital, and Tops Care Pharmacy.
Throughout the program, the students gained hands-on experience within Thailand’s healthcare system while exchanging knowledge and perspectives in different pharmacy practice settings. These experiences enhanced their professional knowledge and skills, strengthened their communication and intercultural competencies, and broadened their understanding of the roles of pharmacists across different healthcare contexts.
The successful implementation of the program reflects MUPY’s commitment to internationalizing pharmacy education, enhancing students’ professional competencies, and fostering academic collaboration with international partner institutions. The initiative also contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
