MUPY Welcomes Delegation from the Philippine Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (PACOP)

On Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 PM, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, together with the executive team—Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Brompoj Prutthiwanasan, Deputy Dean for Graduate Studies and Information Technology; Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattamapan Lomarat, Deputy Dean for Planning and Quality Development; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanika Pathomwichaiwat, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs—warmly welcomed the executive delegation from the Philippine Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (PACOP), led by Assoc. Prof. Perly Crucis, President of PACOP, at Room 606, Rajaratana Building.

The visit aimed to strengthen and expand academic collaboration between the MUPY and PACOP, with a focus on research and scholarly activities, student and staff exchange programs, and the development of academic personnel. On this occasion, both parties also discussed the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to serve as a formal framework for sustained, strategic collaboration in the future. Following the meeting, the delegation toured key research centers and laboratories of MUPY.

This collaboration aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), by promoting lifelong learning, advancing human resource development, fostering research and innovation, and strengthening international academic networks in a meaningful and sustainable manner.
