MUPY students provide assistance to an underserved community area.

MUPY students visited and provided assistance to an underserved community area at the Wat Dongchaimun School in the province of Pracheenburi during 12-17 April 2010. This is a part of regular activities of MUPY aiming at improving standard of living and health promotion for the underserved area of Thailand. This acitiviy is led by MUPY student organizations which also increase the sense of responsibility to the society for our pharmacy students. For this year, the activities included establishment of small medicinal plant garden and renovation of public library. In addition, education on prevention of chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension and dyslipidemia was given to the population in that area.
