From 25–26 September 2026, Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, was invited as a speaker at the 6th International Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences and Military Pharmacy (ICOPMAP), organized by the Faculty of Military Pharmacy, Republic of Indonesia Defense University (RIDU). This year’s conference was held under the theme “Global Perspectives on One Health with Pharmaceutical Sciences and Military Pharmacy.” Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan delivered a presentation entitled “Current Innovations in Digital Pharmacy Platforms,” highlighting innovations and advances in Thailand’s digital pharmacy platforms, as well as developments in pharmaceutical services in hospitals affiliated with Mahidol University.

In addition, Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan was invited to participate as a panelist in the academic session “One Health, One Pharmacy: Advancing Pharmaceutical Sciences through Education, Regional Collaboration and Policy,” alongside Prof. Yandi Syukri, President of the Association of Indonesian Pharmacy Higher Education, and Dr. Lucia Rizka Andalusia, Director General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. The panel provided an opportunity for participants to exchange perspectives on the roles of education, regional collaboration, and policy in advancing pharmaceutical sciences under the One Health approach.

The invitation to share expertise and exchange knowledge at this international conference reflected the international recognition of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, in pharmaceutical education, research, and professional leadership. It also contributed to strengthening international academic networks and showcasing Thailand’s pharmaceutical capabilities on the global stage. The event was aligned with the Faculty’s missions to produce high-quality graduates, generate and disseminate research and innovation, and provide academic and professional services that contribute to sustainable health-system development. Furthermore, the activity supported the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, through the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences and health systems; SDG 4: Quality Education, through knowledge exchange and academic collaboration; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through strengthened international and regional cooperation in pharmaceutical education, research, and policy.
