Products that are the focus for this initiative are 19 herbal products listed as the essential herbal product of Thailand. Activities include 3 major strategies. The first strategy is to study the demand and supply chain of Thai medicinal products starting from management of raw materials through finished products and the marketing aspects. The second strategy is to conduct research to develop appropriate formulation for targeted herbal products. The third strategy is to hold conferences to serve as a platform for dissemination of knowledge related to these products to healthcare personnel. The project is fully funded by the Ministry of Commerce.
