MUPY Hosts Exit Presentation for 2026 Exchange Students from UST Department of Biochemistry

On Friday, July 17, 2026, from 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), through the Department of Biochemistry in collaboration with the International Relations Unit, organized an exit presentation for exchange students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Santo Tomas (UST), Philippines. The event was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraphun Jittikoon, Deputy Dean for General Administration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wanvisa Udomsinprasert, Head of the Department of Biochemistry, and faculty members from the Department of Biochemistry, who attended the students’ presentations at Room 701, Rajaratana Building.
The four exchange students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Santo Tomas, namely 1) Mr. Hanz-Mikhael Falkeisen T. Demmel, 2) Ms. Jehann Eloise S. Largo, 3) Ms. Maria Athena T. Marty, and 4) Ms. Arabella Ryanna A. Reyes, participated in the 2026 Pharmaceutical Biochemistry Training Program, held from June 25 to July 17, 2026. The program was designed to enhance students’ knowledge and academic experiences in Pharmaceutical Biochemistry through a combination of theoretical instruction, laboratory training, and academic exchange with faculty members of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University.
As part of the ongoing academic collaboration between MUPY and UST, the program provided an opportunity to promote cross-cultural learning, strengthen students’ professional competencies, and broaden their perspectives through international academic experiences. It also contributed to the development of academic networks and strengthened the partnership between the two institutions in education and research.
The program reflects the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University’s commitment to advancing education, research, and academic services in pharmaceuticals, herbal medicines, cosmetics, and food for sustainable national development. Furthermore, the initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education by promoting inclusive and lifelong learning opportunities; SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities by fostering equitable access to international educational experiences; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening global academic partnerships for sustainable development.
