MUPY signed an MOU with Phyathai Group, a leading private chain hospital of Thailand, to promote pharmacy education and pharmacy practice of both organizations. This is a part of MUPY\'s initiative to form a strong coalition to support the development of the Doctor of Pharmacy program especially on the clerkship rotation. Phyathai hospital group is a renowned private chain hospital with strong clinical pharmacy activities and competent clinical pharmacists. This MOU help secure the opportunities for MUPY pharmacy students to do clinical rotations and clinical pharmacy research at all 3 large hospitals under Phyathai Group\'s administration. In return, MUPY\'s faculty members will provide assistance, training and consultation to pharmacy preceptors to help advance skills and knowledge of pharmacists of the hospital. This historic event received tremendous amount of interest from the press. Both Dean Chuthamanee Suthisisan and Dr. Surapong Ampunwong, the Chief Executive Medical Director of Phyathai Group were interviewed by many national press after the signing ceremony.
