MUPY Hosts UNISKA Delegation to Foster Academic Partnership and Collaboration

On Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 02:00 pm to 04:00 pm, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY) hosted an official academic visit for a 35-member delegation from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Islam Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari (UNISKA), led by Dr. Nily Suaida. The delegation, comprising both lecturers and students, was greeted by MUPY executives, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Brompoj Prutthiwanasan (Deputy Dean for Graduate Studies and Information Technology), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanika Pathomwichaiwat, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs.
The primary objective of this visit was to establish and explore global partnerships between the two institutions. Following the welcome remarks and an introduction to MUPY, the session proceeded with a presentation by the UNISKA Faculty of Pharmacy. A pivotal part of the agenda was a round-table discussion focused on potential collaborations in academic and research initiatives. Key topics addressed included: 1) Postgraduate Education: Introducing MUPY’s postgraduate study opportunities to UNISKA graduates; 2) Exchange Programs: Exploring avenues for the exchange of staff and students to broaden academic perspectives; and 3) Professional Development: discussing opportunities for capacity-building initiatives that contribute to mutual growth.
Concluding the visit, the delegates participated in a campus tour designed to showcase MUPY’s educational and research infrastructure. This provided the visiting students and lecturers with a better understanding of the faculty's academic environment, laboratory resources, and student-centered learning spaces. This visit marks a significant step toward strengthening the academic relationship between Mahidol University and UNISKA, aligning with MUPY's vision to be a pharmaceutical academic institution that meets international standards and contributes to a sustainable society.
