The exchange students—1) Miss Sakura Iwano, 2) Miss Satsuki Kiryu, and 3) Miss Kana Tachigori—participated in the Professional Training Program in Clinical Pharmacy from December 15, 2025, to February 6, 2026. Their training was conducted at the Faculty of Pharmacy and its affiliated practice sites, including 1) Ramathibodi Hospital, 2) Boots Pharmacy, 3) Tops Care Pharmacy, 4) Chao Phraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital, and 5) Public Health Service Center Administration 51 (Chatuchak).
The objective of the training program was to provide participating students with international exposure and hands-on experience in clinical pharmacy practice across diverse healthcare settings, including hospitals, healthcare service centers, and community pharmacies. The program enabled students to explore and compare healthcare systems and pharmacy practices in Thailand and Japan, while also gaining insights into traditional medicine in both countries.
This exchange program supports the Faculty’s mission to serve as a center of academic excellence in pharmaceuticals, herbal medicines, cosmetics, and food, contributing to sustainable national development. Furthermore, it aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by fostering international collaboration, reducing educational disparities, and promoting the global advancement of pharmacy education.
