During August 20–22, 2025, faculty members and graduate students from the Graduate Program in Health Technology Assessment, Mahidol University (MUHTA), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montarat Thavorncharoensap, MUHTA Program Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, Co-Program Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Director of the Social, Economic and Administrative Pharmacy (SEAP) Graduate Program, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arthorn Riewpaiboon, Advisor to the SEAP Graduate Program, together with MUHTA and SEAP postgraduate students, participated in the 12th HTAsiaLink Conference under the theme “Unlocking Value through HTA in Asia: Forging Ahead Together” at the Singapore EXPO Convention and Exhibition Centre, Singapore.
The 12th HTAsiaLink Conference featured a wide range of academic activities, from the Pre-conference Workshops on August 19 to the main conference from August 20–22, 2025. The program included keynote lectures and thematic discussions delivered by distinguished experts, academics, and researchers from around the world. In addition, MUHTA and SEAP students actively presented their research in both Oral Presentations and Poster Sessions, receiving recognition for their outstanding contributions.
The conference aimed to strengthen academic collaboration within the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) network across Asia (HTAsiaLink), enhance the research capacity of academics and scholars in related fields, and provide a platform for international knowledge exchange through scholarly lectures and research presentations from participants across member and non-member countries. This initiative fosters the development and sustainability of strong partnerships among network members worldwide.
Furthermore, MUPY’s participation contributed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10: reducing inequalities within and among countries, and Goal 17: strengthening global partnerships to support sustainable development.
