Orientation for Student from School of Engineering, University of Clermont Auvergne, France

On Monday, March 10, 2025, from 10.00 A.M. to 12.00 P.M., MUPY's International Relations Unit organized the welcoming and orientation meeting for Mr. Renaud Baptiste Morin, a student from the School of Engineering, University of Clermont Auvergne, France, who came to the faculty to participate in a professional internship program “Development of C. elegans model for learning and memory investigations”. Having been held at Room 409, the orientation was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, alongside faculty members in the Department of Physiology consisted of Assist. Prof. Dr. Worawan Kitphati, Assist. Prof. Dr. Yingrak Boondam Chuayboon, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Nakkawee Saengklub.

This professional internship program, scheduled from March 10 to August 15, 2025, has the objective of learning and practicing mainly on C. elegan under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Yingrak Boondam Chuayboon at the Department of Physiology during March 10, 2025 to August 15, 2025. Furthermore, this activity corresponded the Faculty’s mission on terms of serving as the portal for professional services that encompasses drugs, herbal medicine, cosmetics and dietary supplement to support the sustainable development of the nation. It also responded to SDG’s 4th Goal: Quality Education to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, 10th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and 17th Goal: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership.
