Exit presentation delivered by visiting scholar from Showa University School of Pharmacy

On January 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, together with MUPY faculty members, attended the research project and exit presentation delivered by Dr. Yuka Tokunaga. The presentation was held at Room 404, Rajaratana Building. Dr. Yuka Tokunaga, a faculty member from the School of Pharmacy, Showa University, Japan, visited MUPY as a visiting scholar under the staff exchange program from January 15, 2024, to January 10, 2025.

During her visit, Dr. Yuka Tokunaga engaged in research project and training activities under the supervision of MUPY faculty members, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vilasinee Hirunpanich Sato and Asst. Prof. Dr. Surasak Wichaiyo at the Department of Pharmacology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Savita Chewchinda at the Department of Food Chemistry, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanika Pathomwichaiwat at the Department of Pharmaceutical Botany, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Somnuk Bunsupa at the Department of Pharmacognosy. In addition to her research contributions, Dr. Yuka Tokunaga enriched the academic experiences of MUPY students through in-class lectures, seminars, and other educational activities. She also provided valuable academic advice to both faculty members and students, further enhancing the learning environment at MUPY.

This collaborative exchange aligns with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals. The initiative underscores MUPY's commitment to fostering global partnerships and advancing sustainable development.
