Special Lecture by TEEHTA Speaker

On May 13, 2024, from 03:00 p.m. to 04:00 p.m., the Graduate Program in Health Technology Assessment (MUHTA) organized a special lecture entitled "Estimating how value is shared between drug manufacturers and healthcare systems". Having been arranged at the Meeting Room of Ramathibodi Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics Department, the lecture was delivered by the invited guest, namely Dr. Jessica Ochalek, from the Team for Economic Evaluation and Health Technology Assessment (TEEHTA), Centre for Health Economics, University of York, United Kingdom (UK). In this regard, Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montarat Thavorncharoensap and Asst. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong provided a warm welcome to the guest speaker.

The lecture was attended by the MUHTA Graduate Program members led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montarat Thavorncharoensap, who delivered a warm welcome to the speaker, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong. Also joined the lecture included graduate students in involved programs. After the lecture, MUHTA Graduate Program members led by Prof. Dr. Ammarin Thakkinstian, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montarat Thavorncharoensap and Asst. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong had an opportunity to discuss potential collaboration between the institutes.

 Furthermore, this activity responded to SDG’s Goal 4: Reduce inequality within and among countries. Goal 10: reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
