On 18 November, a joint scientific conference on "Bioactive Compounds from Natural Resources" was held by cooperation between the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University. The conference was held at Rm. 206, Ratcharat Building under the Agreement for Academic Exchange with Kitasato University. Assoc. Prof. Noppamas Sunthorncharoennon was the coordinator on the Faculty of Pharmacy side. Professor Haruki Yamada, Professor Kazuro Shiomi, Professor Yoko Takahashi and Mr. Yuki Inahashi from Kitasato Institute for Life Sciences, Kitasato University, Japan were the speakers of the program. Assoc. Prof. Priemchanien Moongkarndi and Assoc. Prof. Sompop Prathanturarug were the speakers from MUPY while Prof. Dr. Pawinee Piyajaturawat and Prof. Dr. Wattanalai Panbankred were the speakers from the Faculty of Science.
