Online workshop on ’Crude Drug Identification’

On Saturday, August 1, 2020, MUPY’s Department of Pharmaceutical Botany in collaboration with Mahidol University’s Sireeruckhachati Nature Learning Park virtually organized an online training program entitled ’Crude Drug Identification Workshop’ via Cisco Webex Meetings. The program’s welcoming message was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Bhanubong Bongcheewin, Chair of the Pharmaceutical Botany Department, to its 35 online participants who had enrolled in this workshop and received the training’s handout and raw materials which were sent by the postal service beforehand. Besides, the virtual training had been set to be virtually arranged for four days including 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd of August 2020. The objectives of the program were to provide background knowledge and develop essential skills for the identification of crude drug, herbal raw materials, and Thai traditional herbal medicine.
