MUPY visits Kyushu University to express appreciation for students' internship and attend Kyudai Now Leaders’ Meeting during Asia Week 2025

Asst. Prof. Dr. Benyakan Pongkitwitoon, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Botany, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, was invited to participate in the Kyudai Now Leaders’ Meeting held as part of Kyushu University’s Asia Week 2025 during November 1–5, 2025 in Fukuoka, Japan.

During her visit, Asst. Prof. Dr. Benyakan also visited the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kyushu University, where she met with Prof. Kenji Hamase and Assoc. Prof. Seiichi Sakamoto to strengthen academic ties and explore opportunities for future cooperation in pharmaceutical sciences. The visit also served as an opportunity to express appreciation to the faculty for hosting Mahidol pharmacy students for their internship program this year, reinforcing the ongoing academic partnership between the two institutions.

The Kyudai Now Leaders’ Meeting serves as a platform for Kyushu University alumni representatives from various countries to engage in discussions on potential collaborations between Kyushu University and its alumni network. Key topics include organizing international conferences, promoting student exchanges, and supporting international students. This visit further supported the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4: Quality Education and Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, through the promotion of international academic collaboration and educational exchange.
