Prof. Dr. Pornchai Rojsitthisak. The event was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, who extended a cordial welcome to all attendees. The SPU delegation, led by Professor Xiong Zhili, included eight representatives from the university. Joining the session were MUPY’s executive and academic staff, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Somnuk Bunsupa (Assistant Dean for Research and Innovation), Asst. Prof. Dr. Satsawat Visansirikul (Assistant Dean for General Administration), Dr. Pongpol Thanuphol (Assistant Dean for Corporate Communication), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraphong Suksiriworapong (Head of the Central Research Unit). The successful visit underscored the spirit of collaboration across leading pharmaceutical institutions.

During the visit, both parties engaged in academic discussions with administrators and faculty members, focusing on potential collaborations in academic and research initiatives, joint projects, and mobility programs for faculty, staff, and students. The meeting also featured a guided campus tour showcasing MUPY’s learning and research facilities, providing the SPU delegates with insights into the faculty’s academic environment and research infrastructure.

The visit aimed to strengthen mutual academic and research collaborations between MUPY and SPU, paving the way for future joint projects, exchange programs, and shared initiatives in pharmaceutical sciences. This engagement not only reinforced MUPY’s international partnership network but also promoted cross-cultural understanding and academic excellence.

This activity reflects MUPY’s commitment to its missions—particularly in producing graduates and fostering research and innovation that meet international standards, as well as serving as a professional hub for pharmaceutical sciences to support sustainable national development. Furthermore, it aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through promoting international collaboration and the exchange of academic expertise.
