On Monday, October 20, 2025, from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., representatives from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY) joined an online information session for the 2026 Nishimura International Scholarship Foundation (NISF), organized by the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Osaka University, via Zoom. MUPY’s administrative team was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Somnuk Bunsupa, Assistant Dean for Research and Innovation, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Satsawat Visansirikul, Assistant Dean for General Administration, along with MUPY faculty members.
The meeting was hosted by Prof. Dr. Masayoshi Arai and Dr. Kaori Saito from the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Osaka University, who shared key information about the 2026 Nishimura International Scholarship Foundation (NISF). The session provided details on scholarship eligibility, application guidelines, and opportunities for research collaboration and academic exchange between Mahidol University and Osaka University. Through this engagement, MUPY faculty members gained valuable insights into international scholarship opportunities and potential avenues for enhancing academic collaboration with Osaka University. The session also reflected MUPY’s continuous effort to expand its global academic partnerships and strengthen research and education networks with leading international institutions.
This participation aligns with MUPY’s mission to produce globally competent graduates and to promote high-standard research and innovation through international collaboration. It also contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by fostering international cooperation and promoting equitable access to educational and research opportunities.
