On Monday, September 22, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mullika Chomnawang, Deputy Dean for Innovation Management and Business Relations, was invited as a guest speaker to deliver a lecture on “Introduction to Antibiotic Resistance: Causes, Impacts, and the Role of Pharmacists in Antimicrobial Stewardship” at Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII), Indonesia. The session attracted the interest of more than 70 undergraduate students. This academic exchange also aimed to disseminate critical knowledge regarding the global health threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and emphasize the vital role of the pharmacy profession. This initiative not only served to solidify academic ties between the two institutions but also effectively enhanced the knowledge and capacity of prospective young pharmacists in a crucial area of global public health within the ASEAN region. In addition, this activity also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all, and Goal 10: reducing inequality within and among countries.
