On Friday, September 12, 2025, from 09.00 AM to 10.00 AM, the International Relations Unit of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, arranged the exit presentation of 14 exchange students from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chiba University, Japan. Having been held at Room 403, Rajaratana Building, the presentation was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication.
The 14 exchange students from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chiba University (CU), had completed the 2025 Student Mobility Program, in collaboration with ENGINE Program, held from September 1–12, 2025 at MUPY. The exchange program was determined to provide the students with international exposure and experiences in the field of pharmacy education, and the healthcare and pharmacy systems of Thailand, resulting in increasing mutual understanding of the differences in the profession and responsibilities of pharmacists between the two countries. It also aimed to enhance Japanese and Thai students’ English language skills, cross-cultural communication, and interpersonal communication skills.
Furthermore, the student mobility program corresponded to the faculty’s mission in terms of serving as the portal for professional services that encompasses drugs, herbal medicine, cosmetics and dietary supplements to support the sustainable development of the nation. It also responded to SDG’s 4th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries, 10th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and 17th Goal: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership.
