On Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 03:30 PM to 04:30 PM, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), hosted a warm welcome for Professor Dr. Olivia Wu, an adjunct professor at MUPY and the William R. Lindsay Chair of Health Economics, Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment (HEHTA) Unit, University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. The welcoming reception was led by Associate Professor Dr. Surakit Nathisuwan, Dean of MUPY, along with key executives including Associate Professor Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, Associate Professor Dr. Montarat Thavorncharoensap, Program Director of the MUHTA Graduate Program, and Associate Professor Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew. During the meeting, the administrators and Professor Wu engaged in a productive collaborative discussion, focusing on strengthening the academic partnership and exploring potential joint research initiatives between the two institutions. The discussion aimed to align MUPY's strategic goals with global academic standards and foster international knowledge exchange, particularly in the fields of health economics and health technology assessment to enhance academic collaboration and expand research opportunities.
