The official award ceremony was held on 29 August 2025, from 14.30 to 15.30 hrs., at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) during the event NIPPON HAKU BANGKOK 2025.

Mr. Thanat Thongwanich, as part of team “Syntax Waiyakorn”, demonstrated outstanding competence in science and technology through programming a robot simulating missions aboard the International Space Station (ISS). The competition was organized by the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) in collaboration with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), alongside key partners including the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) and the International Space Technology and Economic Development Institute (INSTED). The challenge aims to provide Thai students with opportunities to enhance analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills on an international platform.

In addition to the First Prize, team “Syntax Waiyakorn” was also awarded a special prize, comprising an introductory Japanese language course from J Education Institute and souvenirs from JAXA and INSTED, further adding to the recognition of their achievement.

This success stands as a moment of great pride for the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, in nurturing and supporting its students to showcase their potential on both national and international stages.
