These students also received financial support through the "Overseas Professional Internship Support Scholarship for Mahidol University Students for Fiscal Year 2025" from the Division of International Relations.
During their three-month placements, the students were engaging in hands-on research and development activities within specialized laboratories, gaining invaluable practical experience while expanding their professional knowledge and technical skills. The international setting provided exposure to diverse academic approaches and cultural perspectives, fostering both personal growth and cross-cultural understanding.
This international internship program served multiple strategic purposes. Primarily, it developed students' professional competencies to meet international standards while broadening their academic and cultural horizons. The experience enhanced not only the participants' capabilities but also strengthened collaborative relationships between MUPY and its international partner universities. Furthermore, this activity aligns with several of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goal 4: Quality Education, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all; Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, by lessening inequality within and among countries; and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by strengthening the means of implementation and revitalizing the global partnership for sustainable development.
