During July 24–26, 2025, Associate Professor Surakit Nathisuwan, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, participated in the 24th Asian Conference on Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) 2025. The prestigious event, held from July 24 to 27, 2025, was organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University and took place at The Stone Hotel Legian, Bali, Indonesia. Bringing together experts and professionals in clinical pharmacy from across Asia and beyond, the conference was held under the theme “Beyond the Limit: Advancements and Innovation of Asian Clinical Pharmacy.”

In this international gathering, Assoc. Prof. Surakit made significant contributions as an invited speaker. On July 24, he participated in Workshop 5, delivering a session titled “Case-based Learning in Anticoagulation Management,” in which he shared clinical insights and practical approaches. On July 26, he gave a featured talk on “Integration of Community Pharmacy Services in Thailand’s Universal Health Coverage System,” highlighting Thailand’s innovative use of community pharmacies in strengthening national healthcare access.

The conference featured a comprehensive program of academic and professional activities, including plenary sessions, workshops, symposiums, a scientific conference, and an exhibition. A key highlight was the presentation of oral and poster sessions across eight specialized fields: Clinical Pharmacy, Social and Administrative Pharmacy, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Pharmacoeconomics and Pharmacoepidemiology, Pharmacy Education, Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicinal Chemistry, and Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. The event also included a gala dinner that fostered further networking and professional exchange.

ACCP 2025 welcomed over a thousand participants, including educators, researchers, and practitioners from a range of countries. The event aimed to promote knowledge exchange, strengthen regional collaboration, and advance clinical pharmacy practice in Asia. Participants also benefited from exposure to international best practices, with invited experts from the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom contributing global perspectives.

In addition to advancing professional development, the conference played a critical role in strengthening regional and international academic and healthcare networks. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ACCP 2025 contributed to Goal 4: Quality Education through specialized learning opportunities; Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities by fostering inclusive knowledge-sharing; and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals by building collaborative relationships across borders in the field of pharmacy and healthcare.
