From April 23 to 25, 2025, executives of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Brompoj Prutthiwanasan, Deputy Dean for Graduate Studies and Information Technology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication and Chair of the Graduate Program in Social, Economic, and Administrative Pharmacy (SEAP), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimpikar Kanchanadumkerng, Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies, along with faculty members from the SEAP program, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arthorn Riewpaiboon, Program Advisor, Assoc. Prof. Somying Pumtong, and Dr. Saowalak Turongkaravee, visited Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The objectives of this visit were to promote MUPY's graduate programs and establish academic collaborations with four institutions: 1) Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, 2) Ton Duc Thang University, 3) Vietnam National University, and 4) 175 Military Hospital.
In addition, the delegation participated in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, and the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ton Duc Thang University, further strengthening MUPY’s international cooperation.
Moreover, this visit responded to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) specifically Goal 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all; Goal 10, which seeks to reduce inequality within and among countries; and Goal 17, which aims to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
