On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 12:00 P.M. to 03:00 P.M., executives from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, Dean, and Asst. Prof. Sayamon Sukkha, Assistant Dean for Professional Affairs, warmly welcomed delegates from the College of Pharmacy, University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), United States, at Room 401, Research Building. The UIC delegation included Prof. Glen T. Schumock, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and Prof. Alan Lau, Director of International Clinical Pharmacy Education. The visit aimed to explore potential collaborations between the two institutions, focusing on student and faculty exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and professional training opportunities. This productive discussion marked a significant step toward strengthening academic ties and fostering international cooperation in pharmaceutical education and professional practice. In addition, this program responded to SDG’s Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
