On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 04:00 P.M. to 05:00 P.M., the executives of Mahidol University’s Faculty of Pharmacy (MUPY) led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, MUHTA Program Director, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montarat Thavorncharoensap, Head of the Department of Pharmacy, participated in a virtual meeting with Prof. Dr. Luke Vale from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), United Kingdom. The primary agenda of the meeting was to discuss potential collaborative research opportunities between the two esteemed institutions. The dialogue focused on areas of mutual interest, particularly health economics and health technology assessment (HTA). These fields are pivotal in driving evidence-based healthcare decision-making and ensuring sustainable health systems. This collaboration aligns with MUPY’s commitment to global engagement and its mission to contribute to impactful health research on an international scale.
