During October 26-29, 2024, Asst. Prof. Jennis Meanwatthana, Acting Deputy Dean for the Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Program) at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), participated in the China Educational Expo 2024 (CEE 2024), an international education exhibition organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE). This business trip was led by Mahidol University's Global Partnership Division, which assembled instructors from multiple faculties across Mahidol University to participate in the expo, showcasing the institution’s diverse educational offerings. This exhibition was held across four major cities in China — Guangzhou, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Beijing — drawing educational institutions and prospective students from across China and abroad.

As part of this event, Asst. Prof. Jennis Meanwatthana attended the exhibitions at two venues: the Guangzhou Yuexiu International Congress Center in Guangzhou on Saturday, October 26, 2024, and the Chengdu CYNN Hotel in Chengdu on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. During the two-day exhibition, Asst. Prof. Jennis Meanwatthana presented detailed information on MUPY's Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Program), a key offering under its International Pharmacy School. Throughout these sessions, she presented comprehensive insights into MUPY’s Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Program), a flagship initiative of its International Pharmacy School. Her presentation emphasized the program’s unique curriculum, which blends clinical training with advanced pharmaceutical sciences and research opportunities to prepare students for the demands of a global healthcare landscape.

The presentation also attracted considerable interest from Chinese high school students, their parents, and educational consultants who sought to understand the program’s distinct benefits, career outcomes, and opportunities for international collaboration. Many attendees engaged in discussions regarding admissions criteria, curriculum management, language requirements, and professional practices offered by MUPY for international students. Asst. Prof. Jennis Meanwatthana’s participation underscored MUPY’s dedication to nurturing international perspectives in pharmacy education. This approach aimed to develop graduates who are not only technically proficient, but also adapt at contributing to the international pharmacy and healthcare sectors. Furthermore, participating in this exhibition also responded to SDG’s Goal 4th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
