On Monday, July 1, 2024, at 10.00 A.M., Mahidol University's Faculty of Pharmacy (MUPY), through its International Relations Office, hosted an orientation for nine Vietnamese exchange students from Hanoi University of Pharmacy (HUP), Vietnam. These students visited MUPY as part of the 2024 Student Mobility Program, which focused on the Thai pharmacy system and includes cultural experiences at MUPY and external training sites from July 1 to 19, 2024.

In this regards, the Dean provided a warm welcoming speech to these exchange students whose names included 1) Ms. Nguyen Anh Chi, 2) Mr. Vu Minh Huy, 3) Mr. Hoang Viet Khoa, 4) Ms. Nguyen Bich Phuong, 5) Ms. Tran Th? Quynh Anh, 6) Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh Duong, 7) Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai, 8) Ms. Vu Le Van Anh, and 9) Ms. Do Phuong Ngan.

The objectives of this student mobility program were to provide participating students with international exposure and experiences in pharmacy education, the healthcare and pharmacy systems of Thailand, and Thai traditional medicine. Additionally, the program was intended to increase mutual understanding of the differences in the profession and responsibilities of pharmacists between the two countries, and to develop the students' English language skills, cross-cultural communication, and interpersonal communication abilities. This initiative also sought to enhance the global exposure of MUPY's academic staff and students, thereby elevating the international profile of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
