On August 28, 2023, MUPY's executives led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, the Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Brompoj Prutthiwanasan, the Deputy Dean for Graduate Studies, provided a warm welcome to four doctoral students from the School of Pharmacy, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Indonesia. Also joined the meeting included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittisak Sripha, Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Chatchakorn Eurtivong at Room 409, Rajaratana Building.
The students visited the Faculty of Pharmacy with the aim of sharing research experiences with the faculty members. They also presented their research projects in order to discuss in more details and gain suggestions from the faculty members. Also, MUPY undergraduate students attended the presentation to learn from the visitors' research studies. The research projects included the followings.
1) Title: Development Of Natural Active Compounds As Hepatitis C (Hcv) Antiviral By In Silico And Vitro Studies
2) Title: Synthesis, Characterization, And Application Of Molecularly Imprinted Polymer For The Extraction Of Several Triazole Antifungals In Blood Plasma
3) Title: Ag@Mip Nanocomposite As A Solid Phase Extraction Selective Sorbent For Antivirus Analysis In Blood Plasma
4) Title: Synthesis, Characterization Of Molecularly Imprinted Polymer And Its Applications For Analysis Enoxaparin In Biological Matrix
In addition, ITB doctoral students had a chance to visit the Faculty’s professional service centers and the Central Research Facility Unit to see some research instruments and discuss for future research collaboration between two institutions.
Furthermore, this activity responded to SDG’s Goal 4: Reduce inequality within and among countries. Goal 10: reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
