Pharmacoeconomics & HTA Training for Ghanian Healthcare Professionals

From the 13th of December until the 16th of December 2022, the MUHTA Graduate Program arranged HTA Training Program for the National Health Insurance Agency (NHIA) of Ghana. Regarding this, MUPY’s executives led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations and the Program Director of MU-HTA Graduate Program, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arthorn Riewpaiboon, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montarat Thavorncharoensap, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Dr. Netnaphis Suchonwanich, and some MUHTA students hosted a warm welcome for Ghanian NHIA led by Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye (Chief Executive Officer) and six healthcare professionals from the National Health Insurance Agency (NHIA) of Ghana. Having been financially supported by Roche Product Ltd., the program was organized for 4 days with the aim of sharing knowledge between Thailand and Ghana to enhance related experiences through academic lectures and site visiting. In addition, this program responded to SDG’s Goal 1: End poverty in all its forms everywhere, Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
