On November 4, 2022, from 01:30 p.m. – 02:30 p.m., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, the Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattawut Charoenthai, the Assistant Dean for Professional Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Satit Puttipipatkhachorn attended the exit presentation delivered by Mr. Shiryu Takemoto, a graduate student from Japan’s Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chiba University. The presentation was taken at Room 211, Rajaratana Building.
Mr. Shiryu Takemoto had participated in a professional training program focusing on manufacturing pharmacy under a supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Satit Puttipipatkhachorn at MUPY’s Manufacturing Pharmacy Department from October 6, 2022 until November 4, 2022. This training program was considered a part of the Scientific Internship in Pharmaceutical Sciences for ENGINE, a collaborative international program initiated by Chiba University’s Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The program aimed at nurturing students’ comprehensive knowledge and research skills in the discipline. It also helped enhance professional perspectives of faculty members and foreign students through international activities.
In addition, this exchange program supported the Faculty’s Missions in terms of serving as the portal for professional services that encompasses drugs, herbal medicine, cosmetics and dietary supplement to support the sustainable development of the nation. It also responded to the SDG’s Goal 4th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
