PQM+ Webinar on Drug Registration Process in Thailand

On December 22, 2021, from 01.00 p.m. to 03.00 p.m., the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University hosted an online webinar under the project called ’Promoting the Quality of Medicines Plus (PQM+)’ via the Cisco Webex Meetings platform. The webinar’s opening speech was expressed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Satit Puttipipatkhachorn, Chair of the Department of Manufacturing Pharmacy. The topic of the virtual webinar was ’Drug Registration Process in Thailand’ which was delivered by Dr. Tharnkamol Chanprapaph, Senior Expert on Drug Standard, Thailand’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The webinar was attended by more than 30 international participants who had joined the PQM+ survey on NTD Medical Products Market Landscape. In addition, this event also promoted the SDGs’ goal including the 3rd Goal: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages, the 10th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and the 17th Goal: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
