MUPY faculty members attended ’The 5th Joint Symposium on Basic and Applied Studies of Plant Natural Products for Agriculture and Human Health’

On September 12, 2019, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mullika Chomnawang, Deputy Dean for Research and International Relations, along with faculty members attended ’The 5th Joint Symposium on Basic and Applied Studies of Plant Natural Products for Agriculture and Human Health’ at Thaksin University, Phatthalung Campus. This year, the joint symposium was officially hosted by the Faculty of Technology and Community Development, Thaksin University, Thailand, in collaboration with other six Thai and Japanese co-host universities. In addition, This was the 5th joint symposium arranged consecutively every year since 2015 which Mahidol University’s Faculty of Pharmacy was the first host. Regarding this, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jiraphong Suksiriworapong was invited to deliver his research entitled ’Enhanced Tumor Toxicity of Soursop Leaves Extract by Nanoparticle Delivery Systems’, and Dr. Tharita Kitisripanya was invited to deliver her research entitled ’Development of Immunoassays for Quality Control of Herbal Products’ at this joint symposium.
