MUPY hosted an educational visit on clinical pharmacy for UST delegation

On July 22, 2019, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mullika Chomnawang, Deputy Dean for Research & International Relations, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Wichit Nosoongnoen, Deputy Dean for Education provided a warm welcome to two faculty members from the University of Santo Tomas’s Faculty of Pharmacy, the Philippines. The purposes of their one-week visit were to discuss about MUPY’s Pharm.D. program, student clerkship, and clinical practices in Thailand with faculty members in Clinical Pharmacy Division at the Department of Pharmacy, conduct field trips to observe and learn about the roles of clinical pharmacists at hospitals and community pharmacy, and strengthen mutual collaboration between two institutions. Regarding this, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wichit Nosoongnoen gave a brief talk and discussed about MUPY’s undergraduate curriculum and professional practice with UST delegation. Also joined the afternoon session included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pramote Tragulpiankit, Chair of Department of Pharmacy, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Preecha Montakantikul who conducted a sharing session with UST delegation. The session focused on an evaluation of learning outcomes and students’ performances.
