MUPY organized a field trip for Malaysian pharmacists

On November 26, 2018, Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, Deputy Dean for Planning and Quality Development, hosted a reception for the delegation from Pharmaceutical Services Programme, Ministry of Health, Malaysia. They visited MUPY to discuss about a pharmaceutical care of cardiovascular diseases. The orientation was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan who gave a brief lecture on Thai’s healthcare and pharmacy system along with an overview of pharmacists’ work in cardiovascular disease management in Thailand. The visitors then visited Siriraj Hospital’s Department of Pharmacy and Ramathibodi Hospital’s Department of Pharmacy to learn and share with hospital pharmacists about cardiovascular disease management. They were so impressed and learned so much from both hospital’s practice models.
