Collaboration with Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine on Medicinal Plant Database

On 21st November 2018, Mahidol University’s executives, led by Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., Acting President of Mahidol University, signed an agreement with Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine (DTAM). Also joined the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvatna Chulavatnatol, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Natthinee Anantachoke, Head of Medicinal Plant Information Center. The signing ceremony was officially organized at Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health’s DTAM, Bangkok. The agreement aimed to strengthen a sharing of herb and medicinal plant information as well as a technical development of database focusing on herbal research, medicine, and product.
