MUPY welcomed pharmacists from Laos PDR in the 2018 training program in Medical Technology of Medicine and Public Health for Health Personnel from Lao PDR

On February 12, 2018, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvatna Chulavatnatol, Dean, along with Dr. Piyatip Khuntayaporn participated in an opening ceremony of the 2018 training program in Technology of Medicine and Public Health for Health Personnel from Lao People’s Democratic Republic initiated by HRH Princess Maha chakri Sirindhorn at Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ceremony aimed to provide an orientation meeting and welcomed all 70 trainees who have participated in the programs. For pharmacy program, there were five pharmacists who have been then provided an orientation meeting by Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, and Dr. Somnuk Bunsupa at Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University in the afternoon. The training program has been initiated by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and continuously provided by the Faculty on an annual basis. The objectives are to increase the knowledge and skills in health promotion and prevention, to strengthen and develop the public health, and to exchange the knowledge and experience in the development of medical technology and public health. In 2018, MUPY provides the 20th training program during February 12, 2018 through March 22, 2018.
