The conference, themed “Pharmacy Education for Global Health: Shaping Leaders for Another 25 Years,” was officially hosted from August 2-4, 2025, at Nihon Pharmaceutical University’s Saitama Campus in Japan. The opening ceremony was presided over by AASP President, Prof. Dr. Daryono Hadi Tjahjono, and Prof. Dr. Tsuguya Fukui, the President of Nihon Pharmaceutical University. The MUPY team participated in high-level scientific exchange with peers, contributing to cross-border dialogue on innovative approaches to pharmacy education and research. The event marked AASP’s 25th anniversary and fostered networks among pharmacy educators and scientists across Asia. Objectives included promoting development in pharmacy education and research in Asia, sharing state-of-the-art knowledge and technologies, and commemorating the Association’s quarter-century milestone.
Their involvement not only enhanced international academic collaboration but also facilitated the dissemination of MUPY’s innovative educational practices and research achievements to a wider audience. Through keynote presentations, poster sessions, and scholarly interaction, the team advanced efforts in quality assurance, resilient pedagogical strategies, and functional food research. These meaningful contributions reflect MUPY’s commitment to global academic engagement and align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
