MUPY Undergraduate Students Attended ‘Developing a Sustainability Mindset’ Program

During January 27–28, 2025, two undergraduate students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, including 1) Ms. Thunradee Suttipinthu (Year 3), and 2) Ms. Chayapa Kaprasit (Year 4), participated in the "Developing a Sustainability Mindset - Batch 2" training program, organized through a collaboration between Mahidol University and the University of Victoria.

The program, held at Room 322, Mahidol Learning Center, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council. The program featured lectures and group activities led by Prof. Heather Ranson and Dr. Nichole Claire Bates Eamer, guest speakers from the University of Victoria. It attracted over 70 undergraduate students from Mahidol University.

This training program aimed to raise awareness of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) among participating undergraduate students. Moreover, it aligned with several SDGs, including Goal 4: Quality Education, which promotes inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all; Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, which seeks to reduce inequality within and among countries; and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, which emphasizes strengthening implementation and revitalizing global partnerships for sustainable development.
