During October 16-19, 2023, MUPY's executives led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkeaw, the Deputy Dean for Public and International Relations, together with Assist. Prof. Dr. Wichit Nosoongnoen, the Deputy Dean for the Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Program), joined an official trip and visit with Mahidol University's executives led by Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., the President of Mahidol University (MU), along with MU's faculty members to visit Kunming Medical University located in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, the People's Republic of China.
The purposes of this official visit included attending the South and Southeast Asia Medical Education and Service Alliance (SSAMESA) arranged on October 17, 2023. This forum was also one of the series of activities for Kunming Medical University’s 90th Anniversary Celebration held on October 18, 2023, at Kunming Medical University's Academic Exchange Center.
Furthermore, these activities corresponded to SDG’s 4th Goal: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, 10th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and 17th Goal: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership.
