Collaborative Meeting on Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Program) with Mahidol University International Demonstration School

On September 11, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., Mahidol University’s Faculty of Pharmacy (MUPY) executives led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, together with Assist. Prof. Dr. Wichit Nosoongnoen, Deputy Dean for Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Program), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Busba Chindavijak attended the meeting hosted by Mahidol University International Demonstration School (MUIDS) led by 1) Emeritus Prof. Wariya Chinwanno, the Director, 2) Dr. Stephen Coryelle, Deputy Director of Academics, and 3) Mr. Simon Gauci, Deputy Director for Student Services

In addition, the objective of this collaborative meeting was to discuss the admission process for students who have successfully completed Grade 12 at MUIDS, specifically in relation to their enrollment for the Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Program) offered by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University. It is expected that MUIDS graduated students must have the outstanding academic abilities, enabling them to compete for admission to prestigious international programs both within Thailand and international universities.

Furthermore, this collaboration between two institutions opens up more opportunities in pharmacy profession pathways for MUIDS students who are interested in Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Program) which aims to produce the pharmacists with strong knowledge and having a genuine commitment in global citizenship. In addition, this activity also responded to SDG’s 4th Goal: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, 10th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and 17th Goal: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development.
