คณะเภสัชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ส่งเสริมให้นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีได้ออกไปสู่โลกกว้าง เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้รับประสบการณ์ทางการศึกษาในระดับนานาชาติ รวมทั้งค้นพบความรู้และประสบการณ์ใหม่ด้วยตนเอง ทั้งทางด้านวิชาการ วิชาชีพ และสังคมวัฒนธรรม ผ่านกิจกรรมการแลกเปลี่ยนในต่างประเทศกับมหาวิทยาลัยคู่ความร่วมมือในประเทศต่างๆ ทั่วทุกมุมโลก ทั้งในทวีปเอเชีย อเมริกา ยุโรป และออสเตรเลีย อาทิ การแลกเปลี่ยนทางด้านภาษา สังคม และวัฒนธรรม การแลกเปลี่ยนด้านวิชาการและวิชาชีพเภสัชกรรม รวมไปถึงการฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพเภสัชกรรมในต่างประเทศ ทั้งในสาขาบริบาลทางเภสัชกรรม (Pharmaceutical Care) และสาขาเภสัชอุตสาหการ (Pharmaceutical Sciences) ซึ่งกิจกรรมเหล่านี้จะช่วยฝึกฝนนักศึกษา และพัฒนาศักยภาพทางวิชาการ วิชาชีพ ทักษะทางสังคม และทักษะการทำงานสำหรับโลกในศตวรรษใหม่ นอกจากนี้ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลยังมีทุนสนับสนุน (บางส่วน) เพื่อสนับสนุนการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนในต่างประเทศตามเกณฑ์และเงื่อนไขที่มหาวิทยาลัย และ/หรือ คณะฯ กำหนดอีกด้วย

ตัวอย่างมหาวิทยาลัยคู่ความร่วมมือในต่างประเทศ อาทิ Chiba University, Kyushu University, Kyoto Pharmaceutical University, Meiji Pharmaceutical University, Nihon Pharmaceutical University, University of Santo Tomas, University of the Philippines, Manila, Hanoi University, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City, National University of Singapore, National University of Malaysia, Taylor’s University, Gadjah Mada University, University of Indonesia, University of Kentucky, University of Arizona, University of Illinois, Chicago, West Virginia University เป็นต้น

คณะเภสัชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล หวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่ากิจกรรมการแลกเปลี่ยนในต่างประเทศ จะเป็นอีกหนึ่งกลไกสำคัญที่จะช่วยพัฒนาและเติมเต็มองค์ความรู้ ประสบการณ์ และศักยภาพของนักศึกษาในมิติต่างๆ และตอบสนองต่อ Mahidol HIDEF ด้าน Internationalization (ความเป็นนานาชาติ) เพื่อพัฒนานักศึกษาให้มีทักษะและคุณภาพที่สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของประเทศ มีความรู้ความสามารถในการดำรงชีวิตอยู่ในโลกที่เชื่อมโยงถึงกันในด้านความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้คน วัฒนธรรม สถาบัน และระบบกระแสโลกาภิวัตน์ ตลอดจนมุ่งเน้นพัฒนานักศึกษาให้เป็นพลเมืองของโลก (Global Citizen and Global Talent) คือ รู้จักหน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบในฐานะสมาชิกหนึ่งของโลกที่จะทำให้สังคมมีความสงบสุขและเข้มแข็ง
