Exit Presentations of UST and HUP Students

On Friday, 21, July, 2023, from 09.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., Mahidol University’s Faculty of Pharmacy (MUPY) by its International Relations Office held an exit presentations of 17 exchange students including 1) the biochemistry students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Santo Tomas (UST), the Philippines, and 2) the pharmacy students from Hanoi University of Pharmacy (HUP), Vietnam. 

Having been held at Room 701, this event was attended by MUPY's executives led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, the Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraphun Jittikoon, the Chair of the Biochemistry Department, the faculty members in the Biochemistry Department, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Fahsai Chanjaruporn and Dr. Amporn Songkasiri. This session comprised both aforementioned students' exit presentation delivered by four UST exchange students who had completed the 2023 Pharmaceutical Biochemistry Training Program. The other presentation was conducted by 13 HUP exchange students who had completed the 2023 Student Mobility Program which provided them with experiencing in pharmacy education and professional practices.

These training programs aimed to develop students' abilities, social skills, and sense of global citizenship in addition to providing the international students with an academic experience that would allow them to explore, learn, and practice in pertinent subjects. These exchange and training programs also aimed to increase the Faculty of Pharmacy's profile and reputation internationally by providing participating students with professional exposure in the areas of pharmaceutical biochemistry and pharmacy practice.

Furthermore, this activity also responded to SDG’s Goal 4th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
