On January 4, 2023, at 10.00 a.m., Assoc Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, provided a warm welcomed to the delegates from the College of Pharmacy, University of Utah. The delegation included three faculty members and pharmacy students who visited Thailand to learn more about Thailand’s healthcare and pharmacy system with the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University. 

In addition, Assoc Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan gave a special lecture entitled “Thailand Healthcare and Pharmacy System” to the visitors. The second lecture, entitled “Dermatological Diseases in the Tropics”, was also delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jittima Dhitavat, an invited expert from the Faculty of Tropical Medicines, Mahidol University. 

Furthermore, this activity supported the Faculty’s Missions in terms of serving as the portal for professional services that encompasses drugs, herbal medicine, cosmetics and dietary supplement to support the sustainable development of the nation. It also responded to the SDG’s Goal 4^th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17^th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
