Congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, MUPY’s Dean, on his recent success as he received the Nagai Award Thailand 2021 in the field of “Pharmacy Practice/Social Administrative Pharmacy” from Japan’s Nagai Foundation. This prestigious award was given to him to recognize his outstanding research work entitled “Real-World Comparative Effectiveness and Safety of Non-Vitamin K Antagonist Oral Anticoagulants vs. Warfarin in a Developing Country”. The awarding ceremony was arranged on March 24, 2022, in the 37th International Annual Meeting in Pharmaceutical Sciences (IAMPS37) at Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Pornanong Aramwit, the Dean of Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, granted the Nagai Award to three awardees. Prof. Tsuneji Nagai (Chairman of Board of Trustees of the Nagai Foundation, Tokyo) also attended the awarding ceremony via the online platform. Besides, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doungdaw Chantasart, the Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, together with MUPY faculty members joined the ceremony to congratulate the Dean.
