MUPY partnered with Chulabhorn Royal Academy to Excel Thai Pharmacists and the Profession

On September 15, 2020, from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m., the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, led by the Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvatna Chulavatnatol, along with MUPY’s faculty members visited Chulabhorn Hospital to join the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, and Chulabhorn Royal Academy. The MOU was officially signed by MUPY’s representatives, namely Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvatna Chulavatnatol, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Wichit Nosoongnoen, while Chulabhorn Royal Academy’s representatives included Prof. Nithi Mahanonda, M.D., Chulabhorn Royal Academy‘s Secretary-General, and Prof.Dr. Chirayu Auewarakul, M.D., Vice Principal, HRH Princess Chulabhorn College of Medical Science, Chulabhorn Royal Academy. This event was also witnessed by the staff of two institutes. The MOU mainly aims to 1) collaboratively develop and promote pharmacy education both in the undergraduate level and graduate level, 2) collaboratively produce well-equipped pharmacists to meet the demand of the hospital, 3) promote academic and scientific works in both clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical production, 4) support and provide an apprenticeship site for a professional clerkship and training in general and specific fields, and 5) excel the hospital’s pharmacists in terms of updated knowledge, professional skills, and continual education in relevant fields.
