On October 29, 2024, from 01.30 P.M. – 03.00 P.M., MUPY’s International Relations Unit arranged an exit presentation of 18 exchange students from the School of Pharmacy, Guangxi Medical University (GXMU), People’s Republic of China. Having been held at Room 409, the exit presentation of GXMU students was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Somnuk Bunsupa,Assistant Dean for Research and Innovation, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Savita Chewchinda, Head of the Department of Food Chemistry, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montarat Thavorncharoensap.
The presentation featured two main sessions: the students' learning outcomes, and the development of research projects conducted by GXMU postgraduate students. Following the presentations, Dr. Somnuk awarded Certificates of Participation to the exchange students in recognition of their involvement in the program.
The GXMU undergraduate students participated in the two-day Student Exchange Program hosted at MUPY from October 28–29, 2024. This program included a variety of academic and cultural activities aimed at giving GXMU students a comprehensive understanding of Thailand's healthcare system, MUPY’s educational practices, and research innovations. Additionally, the students engaged in social interactions with MUPY students throughout their visit, fostering professional relationships and cultural exchange between the two institutions.
Furthermore, this exchange program supported the Faculty’s Missions in terms of serving as the portal for professional services that encompasses drugs, herbal medicine, cosmetics, and dietary supplement to support the sustainable development of the nation. It also responded to the SDG’s Goal 4th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
