Collaborative online meeting with PNTU Faculty of Pharmacy to elevate SEAP Graduate Program to a satellite program

On September 4, 2024, from 01.00 P.M. to 02.00 P.M., the executives of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY) led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Brompoj Prutthiwanasan, the Deputy Dean for Graduate Studies, along with the faculty members in the Social, Economic and Administrative Pharmacy (SEAP) Graduate Program led by 1) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arthorn Riewpaiboon, an Academic Advisor of the SEAP Graduate Program, 2) Asst. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, the Program Director of SEAP Graduate Program, 3) Asst. Prof. Dr. Somying Pumtong, and 4) Dr. Saowalak Turongkaravee attended an online meeting with the faculty members of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine (PNTU), the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, led by Dr. Trung Vo Quang. This online meeting aimed to discuss academic cooperation and jointly plan the approach for conducting graduate-level education in the SEAP Graduate Program through a distance (Satellite Program) format between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, and the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine.

Additionally, the development of the aforementioned graduate-level cooperation would support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all; Goal 10, which seeks to reduce inequality within and among countries; and Goal 17, which aims to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
